Publication cadence
Quarterly. Michigan cannabis publishes within four weeks of the Cannabis Regulatory Agency's monthly disclosure closing the quarter; metro market snapshots publish within three weeks of the underlying brokerage figures.
Our format rule
Headline metrics live in the HTML body of the page. A PDF is a supplement, never a substitute. Signature Associates publishes real quarterly Detroit industrial and office statistics as PDF only with no HTML landing page, and Cushman & Wakefield wraps a thin page around a PDF — every quarter they publish that way is invisible to search and to answer engines. Ours is not.

Why we publish this
CBRE, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield and Marcus & Millichap structurally cannot cover cannabis real estate — it is excluded from their research programmes. The regional Michigan brokerages do not cover it either, and the listing marketplaces have no analyst capability. That leaves the largest cannabis market in the Midwest with no published real estate research.
So we publish it. The Michigan cannabis quarterly is built from Cannabis Regulatory Agency disclosures, Michigan Treasury guidance and court records, with C3's own read stated separately from the sourced figures.
On the conventional side we do the opposite of restating someone else's report. CBRE and The Boulder Group produce the figures and we attribute them; what we add is the brokerage interpretation — what a 3.6% industrial vacancy with negative absorption actually means to a buyer, and what a national cap rate median does not tell a 1031 exchange buyer on a clock.
